About Brent Approach | | Brent Personnel focuses on the quality of our recruitment, screening and selection processes, consistently yielding exceptional results. Our referencing procedure includes validation of work experience, performance standards and qualifications, as well as criminal and credit checks and detailed character assessments.
Professional placements are carried out as part of a process of consultation, research, analysis and evaluation, where tailored proposals address both candidate and client requirements. In short, our emphasis falls on talent management: placing the best candidate for the job – out of our extensive candidate database - into the perfect position, and ensuring that clients’ and candidates’ needs are met.
Permanent job placements require an in-depth view of working environments, temporary job placements necessitate clear definition of task mandates and Brent is equally skilled at negotiating short- and long-term contracts for project work. There is also the option of an on-site Brent recruitment and selection office inside a company.

| CSI | | The ADvTech Group commits a significant proportion of profits to corporate social investment, the bulk of which goes to bursaries, scholarships and financial support for deserving learners at our educational institutions. Our intention is to widen access to education for less privileged learners who are unable to access the finance to study at our institutions. For this reason, our CSI expenditure in 2009 totalled R42 million (2008: R37 million), equivalent to 19% (2008: 18%) of our operating profit.
