Q: Have you met the candidate in question?
A: Yes. Brent Personnel is committed to conducting both a telephonic screening and a face-to-face interview with every candidate before you meet with them.

Q: How do I know that my candidate has a good credit record and is not a criminal, which is an important criterion in a finance department?
A: We conduct a range of checks on all Brent Personnel candidates: Kroll checks, Experian or Transunion credit checks, ID validation, criminal record checks and qualification verification.

Q: How do I know that the candidate is financially competent and won’t damage my books?
A: We have workstations at Brent Personnel that we use to test candidates on finance functions, as well as on their knowledge of software packages. These results are then forwarded to you.

Q: Will I hear from you once the candidate has been placed?
A: Yes. We do a ‘first day’ call and conduct weekly calls until the guarantee period expires.

Q: How does Brent Personnel verify a candidate’s work history?
A: We do reference checks with the two most recent employers. However, we also offer you access to referees’ contact information, should you want to call them directly to confirm.

Q: How do I know that a candidate is the correct culture fit for my company?
A: Brent Personnel qualifies all job specs we receive. More specifically, one of our qualifying questions relates to what your company culture is like and what personality fit you are looking for. You also get to interview the candidate yourself so that you can establish this yourself.

Q: Why should I use a recruitment, personnel or employment agency?

A: We assess administrative skills including typing, numerical literacy, spelling, data capture, Word proficiency and Excel proficiency.
